Tobias Sandin joins Actuation Lab as Mechanical Design Engineer

Introducing Tobias Sandin, the newest member of the Actuation Lab design team!

Tobi joins Actuation Lab as a Mechanical Design Engineer with a track record of rapidly developing and proving mechanical hardware in both the hydraulics and cycling industry. In his three short years of professional experience, he already has a patent to his name, being the co-inventor of a novel active suspension system.

Mechanical Design Engineer Ryan Vickers-Rendall was on hand to personally welcome Tobi with some technical guidance and vital CAD design equipment.

Now that he is armed with these tools, and with the support of our team, we are excited for him to dive headfirst into our development process! We look forward to not only designing innovative solutions together, but also crafting, sculpting, and honing a fulfilling career here at Actuation Lab.

Our CTO Michael Dicker said “Tobi stood out to us as an excellent candidate for this role as he already has a track record of leading R&D projects, and has experience working in the thick of a rapidly expanding start-up – both daunting undertakings. I’m confident he won’t be fazed by the rapid iteration that goes on here, and look forward to seeing how he applies his skills to help us exceed our development aims.”

Meet the rest of our growing team of innovators and advisors.
