Welcome to the team Abul Chowdhury!

Abul joins us as our new Business Development Manager. With 12 years’ experience in the steel industry, he has worked in areas which range from new product development and business planning to marketing.

Usually, when a new employee joins Actuation Lab, we have a tradition of handing them an item that will assist them in getting started on their journey with us. However, Abul arrived equipped with an overflowing treasure trove of business development resources to help us. Considering this, we felt it was only fitting to break with tradition, and for Abul to present our CEO Simon Bates with some required reading.

We hope that this gesture shows that we are living Actuation Lab value #9: “We support each other to develop as people, and in our careers”, emphasising our belief in the reciprocal nature of learning and growth.

Simon Bates said: “It is a testament to Abul’s experience and tenacity that within a week, he has proactively established a network of contacts in the hydrogen hardware sector, even before completing his onboarding.
