Actuation Lab attend the BVAA Spring Conference

On 18 May, CEO Dr Simon Bates and CTO Dr Michael Dicker attended the British Valve and Actuator Association Spring Conference at Formby Hall, Southport. The BVAA represents the interest of over 200 British companies which are contributing £3 billion annually to UK plc, many of whom were in attendance.

The hot topic of the conference was the transition to hydrogen. Expert speakers included David Watson, Head of Energy Transition at Cadent, who discussed the HyNet low carbon hydrogen plant, and Debnath Pal, Director at Stopford, who detailed projects requiring flow control hardware innovation to power industrial manufacturing processes with hydrogen.

The conference has led to a number of collaboration opportunities with fellow UK companies for Actuation Lab, and we are excited to be hosting BVAA CEO Rob Bartlett at our Bristol offices soon!
